John L. Hines II, Counselor
I am a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor who developed a passion for helping others while serving as a peer counselor for the first responder populations of our communities. I am trauma-informed and integrate evidence-based modalities which include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness-Based approaches in my work with clients. My goal for our first session is to establish a safe and comfortable space to get to know each other.
