At Iron Bridge Recovery Center, we are proud to provide specialized care for veterans and active duty service members through our Tactical Recovery program.
In coordination with the Department of Veterans Affairs Community Care Network and most major insurance providers, we offer integrated substance use and mental health treatment services designed specifically for the veteran and military community.
What sets Iron Bridge apart is our deep commitment to military and veteran cultural awareness. Through our partnership with PsychArmor, a nationally recognized nonprofit and preferred training provider for military cultural awareness, we are a Veteran Ready program dedicated to serving those who served our nation.

Our Tactical Recovery program provides trauma informed, evidence based care within a service oriented culture tailored to the unique needs of veterans and military personnel.
We understand the complex challenges that can accompany military service, including trauma, substance use, and co occurring mental health conditions. Our experienced clinical team delivers compassionate, structured care designed to promote long term healing and resilience.

Veteran Ready Through PsychArmor
As a Veteran Ready program powered by PsychArmor, our staff receive specialized training in military culture and the unique experiences of service members and their families.
PsychArmor supports continuing education, customized training, online courses, webinars, podcasts, and live speaking engagements, all focused on improving outcomes for military personnel, veterans, and their families. This partnership strengthens our ability to provide culturally competent and responsive care.
Measurement Based Care with Trac9
To support long term recovery and reduce relapse risk, Iron Bridge utilizes Trac9, an automated assessment tool used across our facilities to track client progress and predict relapse risk.
Through a secure web app, Trac9 evaluates changes in:
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Stress
- Cravings, including visual and verbal cues
- Spirituality
This approach allows our clinical team to make data informed decisions and provide personalized support throughout treatment.
Advanced Patient Safety with ObservSMART
Patient safety and high quality care are top priorities at Iron Bridge Recovery Center. We use ObservSMART technology to support observation compliance and protect high risk clients.
Staff conduct patient checks using tablets synced with tamper resistant wristbands. This system ensures real time, proximity based monitoring while keeping staff actively engaged in client care.
Bridge Care for Immediate Support
When a VA facility does not have current availability and a veteran needs immediate help, our Bridge Care program can provide a solution.
With proper authorization, veterans can begin receiving care at our Tactical Recovery locations until services become available at a VA facility. Bridge Care is offered at all Tactical Recovery locations, including Iron Bridge Recovery Center.
